Geeze, it's the 4th week of school and I already feel run-down >.>
Ah, well, I knew this would happen when I started.
Though, I don't think that my choice of major helped - taking Television Production.
That's a lot of shit to get to know, from how the cameras work and where they should go, to writing, to even graphics. At least, that's what I'm guessing from my course layout.
At least my teachers at this college seem to give a shit if you learn.

Katsucon this year wasn't all that great in my opinion. Location wasn't that great, and the panels I wanted to go to got bumped or removed entirely... bastards >.<
Next year is supposed to be at a better location, at least. Maybe Otakon will make up for it this year.

I LIVE

2/6/09 by RanmaYagami

Sorta.

Starting up college takes a lot outta ya, physically AND monetarily.
Hell, classes were @ $400 each, and supplies for just 1 class ran me about $200.
Total cost is @ $2000 so far.
Add in the books, total comes to @ $2400.
O.o

What really sucks is that I got layed off because of the economy; that, and I was getting paid the most outta the 'shift' workers, as I was doing the job of two people.

So yeah..... Working at Chipotles ain't so great any more >.<

Too fast paced, too much stress. Need to get the EB Games..... I'm sorry, the GAMESTOP (sigh) to hire me. At least there it may have one or two days in a row of fast pacedness, a week/month at most.

In other news, Obama bin Flipfloppin has really pissed me off. A shame too. What he was saying on his campaign trail was nice, but now he's pulled a Dr. Jekyl / Mr. Hyde thing, and is completely opposite on just about everything so far as I know.

At least McCain and Hilary have stuck with what they've been saying all along.

Whoever wins the race, though, is gonna be in deep sh*t.

As Genie (Robin Williams) might say... INFINITE PROBLEMS!... itty bitty budget space.

So, I've managed to keep my job at Chipotle.
ZOMG

I get a share of the tips people leave in the tip bowl - that bowl by the register - on most days. Split up, everyone makes a dollar or two out of it. It's nice to have bus fare :)

I also got my check today. For 36 hours of work, I made @ 240 dollars. Woot :D
Of course, that's at 8.50 an hour, and after taxes are taken out. Before taxes, it's @ 300 dollars.
And had they given me about minimum wage, like most places, it'd probably be @ 165 dollars, I guess-timate.

I'm shedding like a snake, though. I guess my skin doesn't like the chemicals too well. Yay for healing lotion =.=
And who knows? Maybe when the outer, old layer of skin is finished peeling, the new layer might be more resistant to the heat and chemicals I expose my hands to just about everyday >.>

New Job

4/27/08 by RanmaYagami

Yeah, so, been a while.

Managed to snag me a job working at Chipotle.

Been cleaning the lobby some days, washing dishes on others. Get a free meal from Chipotle for lunch. And I might as well be getting a crash course in spanish, since that's just about the only language anyone speaks. The managers and a couple workers know English, and a few workers know Engrish.

Still awesome, though. Because I get Chipotle for free.
: Well, it's just the one meal for lunch I get free, but hey, free is free.

Warm yourself by the fire, son,
And the morning will come soon.
I'll tell you stories of a better time,
In a place that we once knew.

Before we packed our bags
And left all this behind us in the dust,
We had a place that we could call home,
And a life no one could touch.

Don't hold me up now,
I can stand my own ground,
I don't need your help now,
You will let me down, down, down!

Don't hold me up now,
I can stand my own ground,
I don't need your help now,
You will let me down, down, down!

Down!

We are the angry and the desperate,
The hungry, and the cold,
We are the ones who kept quiet,
And always did what we were told.

But we've been sweating while you slept so calm,
In the safety of your home.
We've been pulling out the nails that hold up
Everything you've known.

Don't hold me up now,
I can stand my own ground,
I don't need your help now,
You will let me down, down, down!

Don't hold me up now,
I can stand my own ground,
I don't need your help now,
You will let me down, down, down!

So open your eyes child,
Let's be on our way.
Broken windows and ashes
Are guiding the way.

Keep quiet no longer,
We'll sing through the day,
Of the lives that we've lost,
And the lives we've reclaimed.

Go!

Don't hold me up now,
I can stand my own ground,
I don't need your help now,
You will let me down, down, down!

Don't hold me up now,
I can stand my own ground,
I don't need your help now,
You will let me down, down, down!

Don't hold me up...
(I don't need your help, I'll stand my ground)
Don't hold me up...
(I don't need your help)
No! No! No!
Don't hold me up!
(I don't need your help, I'll stand my ground)
Don't hold me up!
(I don't need your help, I'll stand my ground)
Don't hold me down, down, down, down, down!

-Just bought the song in GH3. This is now my warm-up song before I head into any other song, though usually the other song winds up being "Through the Fire and Flames", just because it gives my fingers the biggest work-out >.<

Favorite song of all time is "Bark at the Moon" from the first one, though.

/discuss your favorite song in the GH lineup.
Go.

Waking up to a stabbing headache at 5 in the morning..... so much fun.

Took some Advil. 16 hours later, it seems to be less painful now.

Managed to find myself a copy of Zone Of The Enders, the game. It's better than sex :)
Though finding an unoperated Raptor is proving quite difficult >.>

My briefcase in Resident Evil 4 now consists of: the Handcannon, and chicken eggs.
All the spaces are occupied.
I'm goin' Yoshi-style on their asses now >:)

Watched the stock market do fine from open 'till 9:30 today. At 9:30 it took a very fun ride downhill.
Like in a cartoon or something, when the character is getting to the top of a hill on a gradual incline, and just as he can see over the top, he trips and falls down the other side of the hill, which is almost a straight vertical line =/

But, 'All is well'..... I call h4x, then.

Yeah. SO, apparently there's a blog feature or whatnot.

And apparently Xanga hates me now.

Soooo... I'll just use this one.

Introductory Blog

Yeah, the name's Yagami. I'm an asshole, but then again, who isn't.
Joined NG for the flashes, stayed for.... well, I forget why now, but I guess I'm glad I stayed.

I'm mostly straightforward, and if you deserve it, I will flame your ass 'till it's good and crispy.
Though, I can be nice if I want, too. It all depends on my mood and how badly you're askin' to get hurt.

If I can, I'll probably update the blog once a week/month, depending on my comp access and my mood.

Not much going on in my life, though. Trying to learn how to trade stocks, and as such I've seen the market tank. One thing lead to another, and America is heading into a depression at this rate.
Politicians want to tell you 'All is well, all is well'... yanno, the same thing the captain kept saying as the Titanic slowly started to sink until he couldn't keep saying they WEREN'T sinking, since fish were swimming around people's ankles.
I believe we can bounce back, but first thing's first - Bush HAS to go.

..... /end rant

This is Yagami, signing off.
